Delfin Lend Lease and Modern Medical have announced they will open a new medical centre at Caroline Springs in early March 2009.
Modern Medical Western Highway will include ten general practice consulting rooms, split waiting areas and on-site pathology provided by ARL.
The clinic will include a team of six experienced general practitioners at opening with more to join in the following months.
Caroline Springs Physiotherapy will also open its doors, offering an expanded range of physiotherapy services including a Pilates gym.
Caroline Springs project director Vanessa Normandin said the new medical centre would provide patients in the local region with enhanced medical services and therefore improved medical outcomes.
“We are committed to providing residents with state-of-the-art medical services and facilities, and Modern Medical Western Highway will provide the community with a much-needed high standard of medical care,” she said.
With Modern Medical’s relocation to the Western Highway, the existing premises off Caroline Springs Boulevard will become a specialist chronic disease management centre with increased nursing involvement in the care of chronic and complex medical problems.
