Fencing
Fencing erected by Lend Lease must not be altered, removed or modified in any way, without prior written approval.
Boundary fencing between side boundaries must be 1.8m high Colorbond in the colour specified in your Special Requirements sheet and must stop at the adjacent front wall of the dwelling.
Side boundary fencing forward of the front wall of the dwelling must be decorative and shall only be permitted with a decorative front fence built at the same time as the side fence.
Front fencing is required on certain lots as marked on your building setback plan.
Ideas for decorative front fencing are as follows:
- Feature timber picket
- Feature heritage wire (painted)
- Feature stone/brick
- Feature wrought iron/tubular steel
On corner lots, decorative fencing will be provided to the secondary frontage by Lend Lease. This fencing cannot be altered.
Fencing abutting parkland and reserves will be provided by Lend Lease (refer sales plan for location and fence type).
Where decorative tubular fencing on boundaries to public open spaces and reserves is provided, attachments which reduce the 'see through’ nature of the fence will not be permitted.

Retaining walls
The use of retaining walls visible from the street or park frontage shall be kept to a minimum. Where necessary they should be constructed prior to occupation of the dwelling and are to be of materials that compliment the natural environment (eg rocks, stone, railway sleepers etc.) or your house appearance.

Sheds and structures
Galvanised iron, aluminium or zincalume finishes will not be permitted
Any shed visible from street or park frontages requires Lend Lease approval
Other sheds or outbuildings with a dimension in any direction greater than 4.0m requires Delfin approval
Where a shed exceeds 36mē in area, the materials must match the materials of the main home
All external structures forward of the street front/park front building line (eg. shade sails, pergolas etc) should integrate with the main dwelling in terms of colours and materials

Driveways
Your driveway is required to be completed prior to occupation of the dwelling. Plain concrete or granular/crushed rock driveways will not be approved.
Existing footpaths must not be damaged or removed.
Crossovers are to be built in accordance with the requirements of the Shire of Melton and must match the material/colour of the footpath where provided. If no footpath is provided, the crossover can match the material/colour of your driveway.

Landscaping
All garden areas including front verges, side verges, secondary frontages and rear yards, within public view, must be landscaped to an acceptable standard within 6 months of occupation of the dwelling.

Ancillary structures
All ancillary structures including TV Antennae, solar hot water heaters, air conditioning units, satellite dishes and rainwater tanks must be located or screened so as to cause minimal visual impact from any street or public space.
